Keyona has been doing hair since 2017

I watched my mom do hair growing up, and even as a kid, I understood: this was about more than hair.

It was about the woman who came in stressed and left feeling like they could take on the world. The one who barely spoke at first but was laughing by the end. The way a good hair day could change someone's entire week.

That's what hooked me.

Nine years ago, I started doing hair professionally—bedroom at my mom's house, then my college dorm, then my own salon, and now a private suite in Columbia, SC. Along the way, I went from charging $50 to charging my full worth, from begging people to book to being booked weeks out.

But here's what actually changed: I stopped trying to be everything to everyone and started specializing in what I do best—sew-ins and protective styles that actually protect.

Why Sew-Ins? Why Protective Styles?

Because I believe you shouldn't have to choose between looking good and having healthy hair.

Too many women have been told that extensions = damage. That protective styles will ruin your edges. That you have to sacrifice your natural hair to wear the styles you love.

That's a lie.

And I'm here to prove it.

I specialize in sew-ins and quick weaves because when done correctly, they're low-maintenance, natural-looking, and actually protect your hair underneath. My clients aren't just getting a style—they're getting 8 weeks of freedom, confidence, and peace of mind while their natural hair thrives.

That's the whole point.

The Experience: What My Clients Say

My clients describe me as professional, high-energy, understanding, and knowledgeable. But what I'm most proud of is this:

They feel seen.

They feel heard.

They feel understood.

Women drive from Atlanta, Charlotte, and beyond—not just because the work is good (though it is), but because of the experience. The energy in my suite. The care I take. The consistency they can count on.

They know that when they sit in my chair, they're not just another appointment. They're a person. With a story. With needs that matter.

And I honor that every single time.

Beyond the Chair: Who I Am

I'm not just a hairstylist—I'm a soldier in the Army, a student earning my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Digital Marketing and Advertising at Liberty University, and a traveler who believes in living life fully.

Queen Me Collection isn't just a business name. It's a mission.

It's about empowering women to step into their queen energy—to feel confident, beautiful, and seen in a world that often overlooks us.

Every woman who sits in my chair? She's royalty. And I treat her like it.
